Ignition timing

I don't see any talk about squeezing more power out of the engine be messing with the ignition timeing. Any idea why? I see that DDM does sell a modified flywheel key which would change the timing.

Reason why is the extra power you will gain will compromise somthing else like the idle. How fast it revs up, there are compromises to every change if you can live with them then go for it. I think a good pipe, and a ported bb kit are much better envestments.
