I'm doing another. GR340 OBR and tons & tons of high end parts

Well after the completion of my previous 5ive build. I have decided to do another after finding a killer deal on a running truck with a Gizmo 30.5 full mod. I will be moving the Gizmo motor over to previous build and transferring the OBR 340 over to this one. I'm going a little more involved and adding a few more custom parts and some other things. There will not be pictures for a week or so. Still waiting on everything to ship.

Well I made the mistake of reading to much and watching to many youtube videos. That a guy named Manny just collected a big chunk of change from me. So OBR 340 will go in my basher

I was impressed with the pictues and engineering of the 7075RC chassis, so I figured it would only be fitting to try one out on this beast. When I opened the box I was in "awe" awesome design and quality. Now I can only stare at it all weekend til the roller gets here Monday

More parts came in on Friday and Saturday. Waiting on a few more things but most of it is here. Truck should arrive today and the build can start tonight

Messed around test fitting a couple parts last night on the 7075rc chassis and everything fit perfect. Also go the DDM wheels mounted on some Hostile zero growths and some used Proline treaters til I can get my hands on some MXT's

Well deconstruction of the donor truck has began. I forgot to take pics of the truck assembled. It was bought used , but hardly any. Still spotless and no scratch as if new. It came with a Gizmo 30.5 full mod, BR silenced pipe, and the Hitech 1000 setup already installed, also included a new Futaba 4PLS. Bought for next to nothing compared to what its worth. I started tearing into last night. Only had a hour so didn't get to far. Everything is off chassis. Started tearing into the front Diff and ran out time , had to go watch the College champ game, and wish I would have stayed in the shop. Want be able to touch it again to Wednesday. But look forward to a long week of getting it done

Got a lot done last night on the front end of the truck. Its complete and on the truck. Still waiting on Blackbone gearing and some diff fluid for the rear before I start it.

Front diff with NRP cup, Phatdad cups and 70K diff oil.


Front complete. TI pins, phatdad shafts, CVD's and cups. IRP camber links, shocos rebuilt with Axis caps, NRP seals, DDM springs, and 45wt oil. Team chase ackerman link

Complete and installed on the chassis. With the chassis, Modified RC towers, IRP links, and the chrome springs she's a little sparkly. Still waiting on some steering parts that should be here today. Then I will get the rest of the front buttoned up

Looks like I will finally get the rest of the steering parts today. And also the 500K diff oil for the rear. Motor has shipped and will be here Monday
