I'm getting the itch again....

To get another Redcat! I have been out of the RC game for a while now and into vintage minibikes (have 9 right now LOL). Anyways, I was putting around on a bike on Sat. sept 22nd and wiped out. I just got the bike a short time ago and this was its maiden voyage. I was riding it on some dirt and the back end fishtailed on me. I must have put my left leg down to steady myself and the bike kept going....broke the 3 large bones in my ankle and took my foot out of the joint, so my foot was pointing the wrong direction. I had the foot set and had ankle fixation surgery the next day and had metal plates and screws installed to hold the bones together and a screw through my ankle joint to keep the foot in place. SO.....I would like to not have so many bikes and maybe go back to having another Redcat. I have quite a few weeks left to recover, but after that maybe get another MT or the XSC looks kind've cool too....

8 weeks with no weight on it, and 4 weeks after that for rehabbing it. That's what I'm told initially anyways.

I stepped ina gopher hole playing soccer in high school. Tore my achilles tendon and broke my ankle.

Oh my gosh, that would have hurt a lot... after seeing rc dad's hand and this ankle, this forum is getting nastier and nastier with horror pics... anyone else have horror stories?

Sorry to hear that.i ride dirtbikes as well about 5 months ago rolled an atc at speed and screwed my ankle up too at 39 years old my body doesn't heal like i was young.but welcome back to the rc game....
