wow I feel really good about rebuilding a baja now that we know you are here..........Manuals are all the help one should need

If manuals were all the help one should need, there would be no reason for forums. k? k.

Of course you, and all new members are welcome to this Forum - that's why it's so popular.
It's often difficult to word things as you really mean it, without the potential for them to be misunderstood.
You are welcome and I 'hope you enjoy the ride', as they say!!

Al.

I have been working with 1/5 scale baja buggys for a long time. So if anyone needs any sort of help, or if they need me to fix anything on their baja, i'm here. :)
o.k. your here, whats a long time for you mean?
if your offering your services for help and repair people need to know the extent of your knowledge an how long you been working on 1/5 or any scale r/c?

I enjoy fixing and building etc and if someone wanted me to fix anything
id do it as i would enjoy it!

Maybe he enjoys fixing and hes trying to help others ?

Thanks CSR260, rcspeedsmart, and Outtaluck. I'm just trying to be as helpful as I can be, and I don't know if you guys noticed, but some people keep taking it in a bad way.

It's that Wild West bar thing.

I'm a relative newcomer, but have >15 years in RC - electric and nitro, and 3 years in LargeScale.
There are other regular contributors here who have 10+ years in LargeScale, so perhaps your initial entry, well intended, came over a little 'brash' shall we say.
It's one big happy family here, and we all try to air problems and help others as and when able.
As I'd said in the beginning, YOU ARE WELCOME, and there is a great bunch of people contributing here.
Al.

Well i certainly didn't Al it's nice to know that there lots of people with knowledge on the forum as i have just entered into the world of r/c. It just so happens that i have entered at the largescale stage although i did have a mta4 nitro for a couple of weeks before hand. I'm sure there are plenty of others just like me. I was always taught that two heads are better than one so appreciate any help that is offered. So on that note welcome to the forum Al and ignore the remarks of the others who think they know it all. Steve

Need help!
I recently got a 1/5 steering servo on eBay for about $26. Got it and tried to install it only to find out it's not wide enough for the stock servo mount, which wouldn't be a problem with the adapter that comes with the SS kit, but it's also too tall. Anyone know how to make it fit and work? And don't tell me to get and aftermarket servo please, I can't afford it and this is somewhat of a budget build, been building it for about 2 years now, which is why I bought this servo. Any help or ideas are appreciated.
P.S.: the servo is a SpringRC SM-S8166M
