Thanks to scott at large scale rc i just picked up a mcd race runner v 4 with there cat 5 motor i will try it in the morning

Cool deal, you'll have to let us know how you like the car and engine. Did you get the 30.5 cat 5 engine? If so I heard that thing makes crazy torque. What pipe did you go with?

i got the cat 30.5 i went with the cpi pipe it does make some crazy torque an the buggy handles great

Thats a killer setup, that engine and pipe together will definitly rip things up. MCD's in my mind have always handled great. I've always wanted to try that engine but most of my stuff is on road so thats alittle overkill. I do know that engine would work great on the MCD MT because it weighs so much and it takes alot to get those big wheels turning. Best of luck to ya on your new car.

how'd u like that cpi pipe? i've been running an OBR TS 30.5 with a belt drive system. i run a vrc and my jetpro. like em both, just wondering if i should try something different with my cheetah mt thats comming next week.
