Hello everyone,
I have a king motor Baja with many turtle racing upgrades.
I am having an issue with the front big bore shock mounting properly.
I have the turtle racing shock tower and brace combo tur0007.
The front shock doesn't fit they are not centered through the upper arm.
Is there any specific part that is different on the king motor from the hpi Baja?
Has anyone ran into this issue? I am in need of info on parts that may differ between the two brands of buggies rather than buy the wrong part and the shock still not fit.

I had the same issue, and I have a Hpi 5t. They did fit but the trick I did to get them in was to raise the arms up slide the shock down through the arms, then it's a real trick to get them bolted up. But they will fit, just takes a little patience.
I am using the Turtle racing shock tower support combo and Kraken x2 arms. Once I got them in they work great, best shocks I have had. Don't know if this will help.

Here is a couple pics of the upper mount.
I did get the shock centered by removing the lower pivot ball and installing the factory pivot ball.
I ran into another issue when trying to mount the shock to the arm.
the gig bore shock lower pivot ball wouldn't allow the shock to center and the skid plate to protect the lower shock mount.
I think the centering issue is fixed by swapping the pivot balls.
After doing this The skid plate fit as it should.
The Pics I sent are really to show you the angle of the tower as to the angle of the shock.
If I was to get the upper part mounted like the pic shows it will be in one heck of a bind!

Did you have to swap the lower pivot ball for the factory one in order to utilize the lower shock mount skid plate and to center the shock through the arms?
