The Losi 5ive radio box is kinda small, so I suggest running an extension to the battery box and plug in all your electronics there. To run the wiring its best to take the battery box, radio box loose from the chassis pan.

This is our new 5 way micro splitter with 8.5" long wiring for the Losi. (available for sale soon)

Cut a notch in bottom of batt box divider, for wiring to run under.

Cut zip ties. I removed the Spektrum sensors while I was at it.

Run wiring from batt box to radio box. Add zip ties.

Use a file or Dremel and cut a slot in back of the battery box for the ignition cable.

Remove 4 bolts underneath that hold the engine down. Throttle linkage slips loose and disconnect fuel hoses. Its easy to remove the engine in the Losi. It takes like 5 minutes.Take fan cover off. Take ignition coil loose. Remove stock push button. Connect new Killer RC wiring. Reinstall ignition coil. Use a business card to set the gap between flywheel and coil.

Zip tie the cable to the bottom stand-off that the coil bolts to. This will keep the wiring away from the flywheel.

Put fan cover on engine and bolt it back down to the chassis.

Looks like a nice clean install. Can't wait to see more details about the up coming SUPER bee kill switch!

Looks like a pretty clean installation and it fits in the battery box. So this kill switch will work fine with my Spektrum DX3R? No issues??

So basically if I turn off my power switch on my transmitter, the kill switch will kick in and shut the rig down?

Yes, and it can also kill the engine if you press your Aux C button. It usually takes less than an hour to install the Super Bee kit, and then about 15 minutes to get the radio set up properly. See here. http://www.killerrc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=13

No issues. To be extra safe, the Super Bee has a 5 second kill on all modes, Spektrum or not.

I've got mine from DDM. It looks pretty simple enough to install especially after the previous post on this thread. Thanks for posting the info. The pictures are a great help. Once I get it installed, I post to let everyone know how it went.

Great product!!!! I just installed mine in my Losi 5ive the other day. DDM included a free buzzer with mine and I purchased a LED so I can see the status easily. Thanks for answering all my questions.

Sounds good. Glad you like it. Yes we included a free buzzer in all Super Bee kits that have shipped out since March. That promotion will probably end in late May.
