If it makes you feel any better. I ordered a plasma cutter off ebay about a month ago now. Delivery date was February 18th to march 30th. No tracking number provided. Bet it will be closer to the end of march till I get it.

So 90% of welding equipment is actually made in china anyway and theres no point to buying something painted red or blue unless your getting one of the bigger machines. And even then it's about 50/50 if it's made in china or not. I wont use a plasma cutter in the small 50 amp range more then 5 times a year, which doesn't justify the $1200.00 cost of a hypertherm. I'll wait for the slow boat to get here. If it doesn't work that's ok it only cost me $30.00
