Does anyone know if Demon rc is still in business?? I have sent them emails repeatly with no response. I want to know if they are going to produce the 2 speed and the belt drive for the MCD like they said they were. By not answering their emails they are setting an example of their comitment to customer service.

there is a link somewhere on baja-forum about demon rc but it was along time ago
but don't no about them now.... there website is still up and running tho.

Their last post on here was 5/11/2011. Just trying to find out whats going on with regards to the Mcd 2-speed.

I don't know if this is the guy you had in mind. He is currently working on a belt drive for the MCD and Redcat Rampage series...

http://demonrc.com/

I'll do a search on the redcat forum, there were some pics posted there.

He updates when necessary. The last I read, he is still working some things out. He isn't officially selling anything yet so I wouldn't get too mad. Let him do his development.

.......Don't tell me not to be upset!! He needs to answer his emails or tell us if he is still in business or not. If he has gone out of business then he needs to take his advertisment off the websites.

wouldnt you rather buy a product thats be tested and tested and retested before its been released to ensure that it works the way its supposed to. I know I would. Research and development takes awhile.

I am not talking about whether or not DemonRc is doing their research and development on their products but whether or not DemonRc is still in business because they are not answering their emails.

Totally agree with you......Demon RC is still a sponsor of this site and his website is still live so I assume he is still operating, therefore, I assume in not responding to your emails that he does not treat customer service as a priority.

.............Thank you. I mean BSW had alot of redesigns and delays before they realeased their 2 speed but they consistantly gave product updates , I wish DemonRC would do the same. Or at the very least tell us if they are still in business.

First, I would like to say, I don't check this site everyday because there isn't alot of posts here regarding the products we are developing for release. My sponsorship here and on the Redcat forum is not because we're in business.... yet. It allows announce to you guys about what we are working on and where we are in regards to the products were are developing. There are alot of things on the plate right now and things we are working on that nobody outside the company even knows about. With all that said, I'm sorry I can't respond back to everybody's emails. You guys have no idea how many emails I get everyday asking the same "when will it be ready" question.

Also, I had some information I posted recently on the progress of the 2 speed that was posted on RRF but not here. That was my slipup. I must have gotten sidetracked. What we are doing right now is finishing testing materials on the 2 speed. We just made a change to the steel used on the gears and are expecting them to be in sometime next week. I expect to put many more hours on those gears to make sure they are up to par. Once we get more hours on the gears I will post more information on the time frame for release. I expect that to be late next month.

The is no Demon RC anymore.... they closed down about a year and a half ago.

That was a hobby site named RC Demon. I don't think they manufactured anything. I think they sold aftermarket parts.

..........Thank you for clearing up the mystery. Glad to hear that you are still planning on producing the 2 speed.
