I ordered some parts from Innovative Hobby a while back and they arrived this past Tuesday.Unfortunately, one of the lower control arms that I ordered was poorly molded and somehow made it past MCD's quality control and I got stuck with it.I've sent Innovative 3 e-mails with pictures of the part so I can get a replacement and I have yet to get any response back.Does anyone have a means of contacting them besides phone?I'm in Canada and 3 unanswered calls picked up by an answering machine will cost me more than the parts themselves and at this point,I would sooner send someone else the business.

You should post some pictures. MCD parts come the way they do, as long as it's not a structural thing, I don't see what the problem would be. I am part of the staff there & we answer calls & e-mails every day. If your in Canada, I'm not sure what a cost effective way of handling such a problem would be ? Lets get it solved here now.

BTW if you sent mails to sales, then he has been on vacation for a couple of days, It's Spring break time here from the schools. We all have familys too, so there is really no need to drag goofy things onto the forums.

Frank I have a set I can send you to get you up and going if you want. Let me know. Then you can deal with the return when everything is back to normal.

You'll have to forgive me for not knowing that your salesman was on holiday,I had no idea.I sent 3 unanswered e-mails and thought I would ask anyone on the forums if you guys were in fact on vacation (read the unedited thread title).Below you'll find 2 pics of the part in question. If I apply any force at all,a gap opens up half way through the arm.

Frank

BTW my appologies for dragging "goofy things" onto the forums

I didn't think it was a goofy question... I thought it was a well mannered question..

Trip..

Thanks Trip,I didn't think it was goofy either. No biggie though,I've had several trouble free transactions with Innovative in the past and I'm sure this one will be no different.Just bad luck on my part I'm sure.

That arm is definitely no good. I've never seen one look like that for sure. We'll gladly get this straightened out for you.

As many issue like this have hit the forums. Just to explain, the goofy part is to not call Largescalerc during business hours & get this handled. I have personally explained this on other forums before. Just as in this situation, the mails went to another member of the staff ( on vacation ), & a simple phone call would have solved the problem. As with pretty much all distributors, not every item that goes out the door is inspected. We rely on the mfgs. to keep their quality control up.

No harm, but it's very hard to solve an issue you don't even know exists. Sorry if it sounded wrong.

Not sure how that applies here, but whatever. By all rights the warranty on all of these products are through the mfgs. & it would be up to MCD to handle that warranty. We are more than willing to correct any problems that we can, As long as we know there actually is a problem.
