hi guys... im pretty sure they're different, but is the FG MT shell exactly same as the Stadium shell except for different bits cut out?

reason i ask is im after a Fibreglass stadium shell as i want to *try* & make it fit with my bigfoot tires \o/ ...but i was told the ST shell is wider than the MT/MB shell.... but on ebay i contacted a seller who deals in fibreglass shells but he don't have the ST shell he only has MT/MB etc....yet he says the ST & MT are same shell just diff bits cut out?

like i say, ive been toying with this idea for ages (putting an ST shell on my MB Pro chassis) but all along people have said it wont fit cuz the ST shell is wider & the monster front tires will hit the shell when i turn, hence why i want to get a fibreglass one to use a guinnea pig! ..as im going to be chopping bits out to try make it fit. In the worse scenerio, i will have wasted £40 on a shell if i cant make it fit, rather than £100 for a genuine FG one!

any info much appreciated as always :)

There the same mate, with the ST the front arches are cut away abit more where the body sits lower than the MT.

ohh... oki ta mate ;)

cuz i wanna lower the body right down so the bottom of the shell sits at same level as the chassis, \o/ but got a feeling the roll bars aint gunna let me! :( ?

Hey Tiz, I think this shows you how much room there is if you keep the roll cage, and cut out the shell - that's what I had done for my Blue Thunder shell - looks great, but, as you say, it's still high.
I've actually fitted shorter shock shafts, and shorter rod ends - dropped 1cm.

You can go even lower if you cut the back window out around the cage, like the ST has.....too sit even lower
