IS the Outerwear pullstart prefilter good?

I am wondering if the Outerwear pre filter for the pullstart any good?

Im still worried that the center dogbone will interfere with the outerwear.

I have a piece of 1/4" square fence or cage material and it wore a small line in it. If I could have had it made up closer it would be ok

PULL start pre fillter works very well.and the crank case filter allso ,the reall fine one.keeps the grass out of the head.

I don't have any input on the crankcase filter but have tried the pullstart filter. It works very well and looks good but my velcro fell off a few times before I finally just glued mesh to the inside of the pullstart. It's a clean mod and looks good. After a while I just invested in a Python alum pullstart that had a lot of small holes drilled into it. He doesn't make that model anymore even though I thought it was the best one.
