i wouldnt think so, the motor its for is for pocket bikes, so considerably larger

Why do you want to change that? I have rebuild my recoil starter when the cord was broken. Easy to do. Seperate cords are available through your LHS or Ebay.

i just used some nylon rope to fix my pull starter... works fine. fix yours for now, watch the deal of the day. I like to buy them when they go on sale for 9.99

i was just curious when i came accross it on DDM thats all.
my rope is fine, just not recoiling all the way anymore. I do the pull a bit out and recoil it trick but that doesn't last long.
the starters laster over 30 tanks so I don't know how repairable it is, my longest lasting pull start for sure so I got my money out of it, no probs there!
