Is this the same thing as a Dune Runner?

Call them and ask. This is the Redcat forum, not the NitroRCX forum.
I don't want one. I was just curious since both models are made in China... just wanted to see if it was a rebadged Redcat.

No. It is a rebadged HSP. That is the factory name that makes Redcat nitrorcx HPI Europe and himoto versions
Ahh OK. I wasn't trying to draw attention to the competition if that's how my post came across, so I apologize if that's how it sounded.

I was browsing the net when I saw one of those HSPs, and I thought to myself that it looked just like a Dune Runner. I just wanted to know whether or not they were the same thing.

No problem. It just gets old sometimes.
I'll try to search more. Not easy when you don't exactly know what terms or names to use though. Thanks for your help.

Interesting, just checking out the links amstel78 posted, although I knew that info about HSP etc...I did not know that the redcat transmitter is a rebadged flysky!...makes me reconsider using one on my daughters mini savage...

Hmm, I not surprised if it's made by HSP since HPI and HSP are already in business together....That's why Redcats are so awesome, because HPI sells only (for the most part) well built vehicles.

The two frames have the same shape, the frame of the NITRORCX is shorter in the area of the fuel tank, all the parts are interchangeable part in the fuel tank which is smaller than that RedCat.

One nice thing about NITRORCX is support for servo control which has 2 servo for steering, I used my DuneRunner and works very well.

If you want I can put the photo frame and support servants compared with those RedCat, I have all the pieces in the workshop.
