Dr. Nitrostein 2speed tranny works!!

:celebrate: My home made 2 speed tranny for my MCD Rally car, does work!! Took it out yesterday for a test run and it shifts . Only problem is it shifts too early and my adjustment screw is adjusted as far in as you can go. So now I need a stronger adjustment spring. Once I correct this problem and lighten the tranny up I will be ready . :celebrate:

Not now because I have disassembled it to make some more improvements.

When I get all the gremlins worked out I will post a video. The plastic gears in the picture above are being replaced with metal gears and the plastic clutchbell gear mount will be replaced too with a metal one .

I think you mean the 2 speed clutch assembly?? When I complete the 2 speed then I will post pictures. The current tranny is slightly different than the original.

Well guys it died!! Back to the drawing board need to redesign the 2 speed hub and pawl.
