Okay after going thru and checking all of the screws and bolts. Oiling filter and full test of radio including the kill safety I fueled it up. I can only say that so far this thing is awesome it started on about the 6th pull. I ran it a little rich at idle for 20 min and let it sit and cool off I am now running the rest of the tank out and it will be ready to go play. I probably am going to have to wait till Tue because of work I cannot wait to get it dirty:D

Unless you've got a high compression, modified engine, there's no need to follow nitro break in procedure.
Just go a little easy on the first couple of tanks - never keeping a fixed throttle and not going on full untill perhaps the 3rd tank.

Before and after each run, check the bolts - see nothing has vibrated loose.

If you haven't already, get a remote kill switch - could save you more than a little embarrassment!

I have the 3.0 ex with 30.5 4 bolt. It comes with a failsafe built into the radio but I am going to order the killer bee because the on board one only puts on the brakes and if it looses connection with tx and I want the motor stopped if it looses battery or the voltage drops in receiver. I have run it 20 minutes at idle twice now with complete cool down in between and I was planning on going out and start running it. Heck after 40 minutes it did not even burn half of the tank. Figured for rest of tank I would set the dual rate at 75% that way I know I won't over rev it. I realisticly think the motor should be fully broke in already but why take a chance.
I really am hoping to find some people locally to run with and that I can find some good places to run too.
