As I was on my way to the area hobby shop yesterday it came to me that the guy that named our trucks must have had an ole lady alot like mine. It seems every time, like yesterday, that I say honey I broke this or that on my truck and I'm going to the hobby shop to get a part thats when her mood changes. For loss of a better way to discribe it RAMPAGING pretty much says it all. All that a side I don't remember reading anywhere that the hitec 5755 wasn't a direct bolt on replacement for our steering servos but that doesn't seem to be the case. So what do you guys do to get all 4 screws in place. Do you just nock two of the tabs off and use two or drill the servo mount and screw to it or what. Just wondering how you all went about it. I am kind'a hoping this is the last thing that I'll have to replace for at least a couple weeks you know give her a little time because I've just got to have that head kit. ha ha

My wife is the same way... trust me. I am sure plenty of them are :D

Just stock up on easily broken parts like suspension stuff and you wont have to tell her as often. I finally let my wife know that these trucks are made to be broken and half of the hobby is working on them.

Basically I have seen several of the guys on here just make sure their spouses get something nice every time they get a new or upgrade an old toy... this helps too!!!

You can either mod your mount or get the hopup part for a direct bolt on. Futaba mount #050010b

I took the bottom nubs off because I felt that at least the passenger side servo would rest against the underside of the servo mount but just my newbee thought is there some reason that you would use the bottom nubes instead of the top ones if you had to pick? Just wondering because the way I did it seems to be working.

And by the way. I try to read all the posts so I don't ask ? that have already been answered but sometimes miss things. sorry as aways thanks for the help!!

I let the servos rest on the chassis.

You can use either set of nubs. I just kept them to help keep the servo in place while I drilled the new holes. They do add some stability when you mount the servo, though.
