Well, it finally showed up last night. 2 issues, a broken rear carrier and the CD was cracked, although I've already contacted the seller, and he is making it right. Oh well, still 3 months to go until I can use it anyway....! 12 hours later it already has the bow-ties installed, big bore kit, HPI tribal body and tribal shockwears.

nice one! gutted about your breakages though, glad the sellers making things good, shame it has to happen eh. keep us informed of what ya gonna do to it! i keep on thinking, "that's enough money spent on it now"... then somehow i end up buying more goodies for it. they're addictive money pits...

Here is the rest of the story that BTB forgot to mention...

After the load blew over at the shipping dock, the boss called all his buddies to come and help move the broken Baja clones to the proper hobbyshops, but he was met by a few challenges...

Chin wanted to help move, but he had morning wood and didn't have any get-up-and-go...

Chow was gonna help but he had a flat on his favorite trailer...

"John" was gonna help, but he couldn't get off the sh!tter...

Jim-Bob was going to help too, but he had to work... (look at where he's parked)

Luckily Chang came along with his sweet pickup and took the broken Baja's to the hobbyshop, after he got some gas...

I got the KSRC-001 23cc from Danlc4 in New York. Great to deal with!

Oh, and don't forget about the hi-jacking, those are pretty funny!

I'm assuming the box was dropped in the cold. Likely while it was in town, as it was -40C most of last week.

I worked at the Docks here for a year, that isn't so uncommon as you might think. I had to drive around this place in an SUV with lights flashing and stuff, and I had to stop at every corner and look or some guy in a 500 ton forklift would skewer me, or a truck would come wailing..

I sat and watched a ship almost flip as they loaded. I kept thinking why are they loading one side. and they had to really pack containers the opposite as it started to keel. pretty amazing to see.

I've had emails with Dan, he seems like a pretty good guy to deal with. I was going to buy a Rovan 5T for a nascar conversion but got sidetracked. some day I will order one from him

By big bored I meant engine - 28.5cc currently.

The reason I asked is because BB kits like that usualy run over $150. The buggy with the 30.5, 2-speed, 8krpm clutch, "agrueably" better pipe, and aluminum rear guard could have been had for just $200 more than the buggy you bought. [assuming it wasn't a gift]. So the real question is why did you get the 23 instead of the 30.5?

The big bore was 70ish shipped. I wanted the cheapest base model to do what I want to it, modify like crazy, which involves a 62cc or similar in the future, for example, when this engine calls it quit....

Well, I might not be able to order anything to soon for the KM, I checked my online banking this afternoon and found out I apparently ordered 5 top of the line ipads on my Visa! Damned if I remember spending 4g at the apple online store!. Gonna have to wait 8-10 days for the new Visa to come in, although there is Paypal still :D.
