apparently there is an hpi baja or two, (according to some of the dutch guys that know Rinus, rn owner), over in Holland testing it. I know that rn are having problems with their producer and hope to sort it soon? as they have large orders and are losing business. I'm hoping once they have pipes again to become a distributer for them here in N.America as I know demand would be high especially once the long awaited 5b pipes comes out.

i don't expect it to happen til into 09 though.

That sounds good, 09 is only a month away.

Yeah I've sent Rinus an email to see if something can be set up , with the current exchange the rn pipes will be around the 300-350 dollar range depending on the model.. watch this space.
You know that is not that bad of a price. Maybe you should start another thread. So you can see how much interest there is.

As soon as I can set up a tentative deal with RN I'll blast all the forums.

Just with FG and MCD/fs/redcat i think demand will be very high for that sorta price ,only about 70bucks more than a samba, it's worth it and when the hpi 5b pipe does eventually come it'll sell like crazy, I know you know, clubin, how nuts these pipes really are, on a standard 26 they're crazy on a ported motor like a 28.5 reed they're super sick.

the tgn requires a serious hack job and the jetpro looks as tight so could be the same, I've been looking close at tuned pipe options cos it's to me it's a major requirement. i'm either gonna go with the dom conversion from forum memeber sprint 77 or wait for his pipe to come out and just run an fg standard can that came with my baja for the time being...definitely going 28.5 ported with a stuffed crank so don't want to restrict it for too long. i reckon the only side pipe i'd run would be the RN bullit for mcd, it looks a straight fit, and then i'd want some nerf bars and an ascard body .but in saying that i'd be happy with a decent rear pipe for every day bashing with the doms low mid grunt.

For the TGN, all you need is a little room in front of the rear tire. The Jetrpo is the same, since it needs to come out in the same area.

A few pics of mine

The JetPro does touch the body on the side. I ran mine for a lil bit till it melted some. Then I just cut straight across the side and riveted a piece of an aluminum sign from the hardware store across it. I bent the ends a bit to conform to the fenders and it turned out pretty nice. I also silicone glued a piece of fiberglass pipe wrap behind the bulge in the pipe to keep the panel from rattling around.
