I just gotta say the guys at DDM did a great job of getting my parts out the door and well packaged. Anyhow the guys at Jet Pro made an amazing product I was a little iffy about throwing out 160 bucks for a RC pipe but when this thing showed up and I unboxed it all I could say was wow the quality of the Jet Pro Chimera pipe was next to none very well built and had a perfect finish. it mounted very secure and performed awesome!!! nice tone and added a lot of power. I just wanted to post this to tell all what a great product this is and don't be afraid of the cost its worth every penny!!!

I have the jetpro for the xb not sure if yours come with the blue silicone tube but I do see the hose clamps I used them and they destroyed de silicone coupler I would use zip ties if I was you just my 2 cents and enjoy
 
Ya I just took it out for a pretty hard run and noticed the blue hose kinda tore up so I will zip tie. Thanks for the info. And ya I'll run jet pros on all my 1/5ths to come
 
yea, i do live pretty much out in the back 40 here, but close to the jet-pro factory, its in Spokane, Washington. about 160 miles from me. great owner, have talked to him on the phone a few times--- he does make pipes for other engines too-- snowmobiles-- ect. just saying. who knows? with permission, it would be cool to go to the factory and take a tour-- need to deliver fish close to Spokane anyways-- combine the trip-- just saying---
 
I don't have a comparison since all I have ran is the JetPro. It is a quality product and well built. And the MT really hauls!

My Baja 5T will be running a CPI because I got a great deal on one from Fearless!!!! :D
 
Is there any tuning that needs to be done on the carb when you swap to this pipe? I have a Chimera with the stock tuned pipe?

Not looking to replace it with a 4th stock one, so the JetPro quality looks like money well spent.
 
If you do add the silencer you will be able to tune for even more speed!!!!! That is a great pipe and silencer it really wakes the chimera up I run the cap out of mine.
 
I can not explain the technical know how of how it works but dino the owner of jetpro prove this to me. First he had me install the pipe with the silencer and tune the motor it was really ripping raned that for a tank then he had me take the silencer off and run the car it was very sluggish had to re tune again and you can see the difference in speed and power so of course I added the silencer back and been very happy with it since. Then I added the 2 speed and boy hold on to your remote I can pass all the baja and the losi at the track.

well yes of course if you tune an engine for one exhaust system and then remove the silence, its going to be different. That not anything earth shattering. trust me. You can make more hp(maybe only a tiny bit) without the extra backpressure of the silencer. But in reality it should be perceivable if you tune each combo correctly
