I started buying things for the buggy and then got to thinking. When doing engine mods I should rejet. I have been restoring vintage bikes and three wheelers for about half my life and part of changing a pipe, raising compression, aftermarket air filter etc involves rejetting but I have not seen anyone discuss this. So what's the scoop? Where can I buy jets?

im sure you cant change jetting but you can change it out with bigger or smaller carb, and adjust the needle jets to set your high and low carb.

So these kinda follow the old rotax design. Where they are perm proxy set? I kinda figured this when I was trying to lean it out a bit and no matter what I did it was still a bit fat. The upgrades should lean it out quite a bit, so it might work out well. I haunt got into the carb yet but from the outside it does appear to be quite limited on its tuning options. I am a little worried about running it lean. Has anyone tried molding a dial a jet on these? I hate a carb without much tunability.

I think the needles (adjustable jets kinda) will do what you need from that carb, based on the amount of air that carb will flow. A better carb upgrade would be the Walbro 813.
