So more time on ebay to come.

supposed to be a never used marder shell of ebay, the old paint and cracks would suggest otherwise. Item as described??? Hmmm

J

It doesn't look like a stock marder shell looking at the bump on the nose and the roof scoop. Not that it matters!!

What engine you sticking in it?

whatever I can get my hands on for a good price. if what I get is better than one of the touring cars ill swap it into the Tc and put the Tc one into this.
its a bitza 57 variety marder of the junkyard type.
J

picked up a set on new Hitec servos for it so they may go into one TC and the older ones go into this...for example

another week another pile of second hand parts arrived in bubble wrap and tape

It looks almost identical to a shell I bought about 2003/4 the guy who'd had them made, was from yourkshire. If it is one of that batch, most were returned due to poor quality.

I hope for your sake it's better quality.

Hard to say what it was like originally few scuffs and tears around edges, should be able to shave it but it seems to fit OK, have to open up the fuel filler apperture a bit and remove the old paint etc...was sold as never used. Hah.

Justin

You'd never get clean painted shell looking like that to try and sell it as never used. It's probably just crap from being on a bench for ages.

Don't think its a carson as they also don't have the extra bulges. Was going to return it to the seller, but after discovering its rare...decided to keep it and see if I can sharpen it up. Should be able to remove most of the fine cracks around edges by shaving it and there are several gouges that I might be able to soften up with fine sand paper and a good machine polish.
Very happy with the wheels, almost new with near new slicks, and they are massive. Turned attention to the GT3 so while painting that, this will sit on back burner unless another e-bay bargain comes along.
Also bought some red, blue and white 10mm LED lights for this don't know why but I did
Thinking Matt black for this one might be in order with crisp white decals.

Justin

Painted!

Ok the GT3 was supposed to be first in for paint but the poor excuse for paint didnt last enough so another can ordered to fill inthe thin spots before the next color!

So the Junkyard looks mean in black and Matt black
