Got my *used* XB in today and examined it completely w/ the exception of tearing down the engine & ran it as soon as I was done. Looks great, runs great and smells great. After run checks were good as well. The person I bought it from said he ran Stihl Oil mixed w/ gas, of course. Does anyone know about that type of oil?

This buggy was the shiznittle bam snip snap I was HiGhLy impressed w/ it. Next comes Hop-ups. Its stock so besides an aluminum roll cage, pipe (don't know best pipe though) & the belt drive what are some good upgrades as well?

I've never used Stihl oil, but I've heard of it. As long as it meets engine specs, it'll be fine. If you're going to get a pipe, the Jetpro pipe would be your best option.

The synthetic oils will always be better. The less smoke is what I appreciate. You can order oil from the net if you can't buy it locally.

That will work. I would recommend that you till use between 25-32 :1 ratio. 40:1 is too close to the edge.

Alright, great I appreciate it.

Furthermore I just want to put this info here as well...

Its a calculator for mixing gas/oil. You may have it or something better (like your brain) but someone may need it on here or someone you may know. http://www.csgnetwork.com/oilfuelcalc.html

Well ran into a few expected issues already. Radio, receiver, and both servos. Cost $140 for both servos I took my Spectrum DX2S radio and receiver from my brushless E-revo and put it w/ my XB. Hopefully all will be good for a few weeks @ least.

What happened to the radio? I know the servos are crap, but I really haven't seen any issues with the radio system. Unless the servos burned up the receiver.

Nothing just wanted to change it, come to find out that the steering servo I bought is no good either soooooo...

It was an HPI SFL-30MG Digital servo. I just bought a Hitec HS-5755MG lst night. Oh well back to my ERBE for a few days.
