Real sweet! Now I may actually clean my air filter. I couldn't believe how hard it was to remove the stock air filter. So now I am real happy with the new setup, and the install was easy.

I found the fast eddy video on youtube and just followed that

hi mate

I've never seen one of them ,whats it look like ............phil

sorry i like the angled shreadstack better ;)

is that similar but angled ,i like that idea as long as it wouldn't fall of ,maybe a button release but it looks good and would make it quicker access for repairs or cleaning ...........................phil

the shreadstack uses the stock filter holder with the shreadstack base. teh angle makes it easier to remove and install the filter. teh blur simply pops off and on.

im not saying the blur isnt a good one and it does make it easier to have a spare air filter or 2 ready to go however i prefer teh shreadstack. if i was racing my preference might shift towards teh blur unit just so i could have some spare clean air filters handy for quick pit stop to change a filter if necessary ;)

bloody hell there $65 i will just unscrew it :w00t:

Lol yea it was expensive. I liked the blur over the shred stock because I could pop it of and cover the hole with a plastic bag to hose the truck down. I was worried that I would wear out my stock airfilter clamp by poper it on and off. Mine seems to be a real pain so I use a screw driver. As for popping off, it dosnt go anywhere. It use spring loaded balls. So it fits real tight but can snap off ;-)

i just put one of these blur filter adapters on my baja. i would better if it was angled. now ddm sells a agled filter that i have my eye on. so we shall see

also read somewhere the blurs lil ball bearing thingies it uses to capture and hold the filter base, wear out, and drop the ball bearing out, not good if ya ask me.

Ouch that stinks, I guess only time will tell. I will tell you if it happens to me
