I just purchased a t1000 from Dan at KM, unfortunatly had some motor issues I contacted Dan and told him my problem he suggested I try some things, did not help.So I contacted once again tried some other ideas. As I'm sure your aware that there is no waranty on a 2 stroke.Dan went out of his way to replace the engine for FREE....As I am not a mechanic wasnt sure how to pull motor off and once I did I couldnt get it back together If I tried. So he let me send It back to him and he would take of my problem. This is unheard of service in this day and time....I would suggest anybody looking to buy a 1/5 scale buggy or truck that you go to King Motors this guy stands behind his products. I am so impressed with the quality of service that I received from him.Dan hats off to you brother way to be a quality person. Thanks so much for your help. 1 satisfied customer.

update on my 3.0 ex

I went ahead and bought a 3.0 ex have run close to 2 gallons of fuel through my 3.0 ex not one single problem. I hear everybody talk about how clones don't hold up and the big issue between km and hpi. I run my buggy hard not just up and down the street, have been in sand, mud, rough tracks and just cant kill it in my book the km has held together wonderfully,if your looking for a reasonably priced 1/5 scale my money goes to km everytime.

Good to here mate.I have had a few KM's and HPI's and the only issue I have had with the K was the engine.I don't think the build spec is up to a Zen or CY but I think KM have resolved the issue now.My HPI's were breaking more than the KM's so I just think people are "badge buying" when they buy the HPI...but thats just my opinion.
