it will never end....

I almost bought a obr 50.8 twin but i thought to my self nahhh power is to rediculous, be constanly destroying tires and worst of all the price for a twin i just could'nt bring my self to do it :lol:

With the twins you have to put rings in them about ever 3 or 4 gallons, run much hotter as well as very hard to control. 7 HP is more then you will ever need. Good choice.

Cant wait to get this BadAzz engine :devil2:

Damn it i just spent another 500us on this damn baja....pls helllllpppppp i have an addiction

Give it some time after this LR engine is installed. Once you get used to the power, you will simply want more. BZM50 possibly? Or will you go straight to the twins?

I would love to own a obr twin but cant bring my self to spend 1700 on a motor for a rc car lol

it ends when we drive out offroads responsibly.

if you look at a 1/1 proper real offroad machine you won't travel across rough terrain on full throttle,if you want to grab some quality time with the machines it's all in the trigger finger and how you drive.

a friend of mine is a very carefull driver,he drives his FG MB like a elec crawler
over the rough stuff, then on the smooth stuff it gives it some, i can tell you his beetle is real standard with nothing only alloy diff and mounts done and it's now a year and half old with NOTHING ever broken!

we wouldn't drive our cars fast through rough roads,if we did we would almost expect breakages as a regular occurance

just my 2 cents!

i rag my marder about stupidly,50 mph cartwheels etc, ive only ever broken 2 plastic engine mounts and rod end, i couldnt possibly use it like a crawler, and its not even a mt!!!lol, drive it like you stole it (or buy a rock crawler lol)

nah, it needs a ringing after about 6 to 8 gallons if your a good tuner.

it is a very drivable engine, the way the power is delivered is very familiar as the singles we run. it just has more umph. drivability is excellent, just a little throttle management.

here is a couple vids so you can see that it is a very driveable engine and the power is linear and not like a light switch. you haven't had fun till youve had a twin, mine is still going strong on its second ring job with a total of about 12 gallons through it now. it is a lot of money but it is a basher must have, imo.
