Hello everyone,
just bought a ksrc-001 from heat hobby on ebay talk about easy to deal with! Just got it yesterday, hoping to break her in this weekend, but am looking for advice what is a good servo upgrade for the throttle and who makes a good remote kill?
Have to say I am impressed with the car and radio, mine has the large screen on the top remincent of the airtronics M8. Seems to work good not a futaba but I think i gotta lay low on my r/c for awile (wife....lol)
Had her apart, all the places i have read about on here seem good. but the throttle servo seems a wee bit gritty for me.

at any rate glad I found this fourm as I hate fourm rippers (just cause you can afford awsome Brand X don't make you an expert..lol)

I have been into R/C for about 13 years, and have wanted a large scale since the old traxxas buggy. Can't belive it took me until now to take the leap!:)

Thanks for any advice and glad to now be a part of this fourm

Hitech servos is what most go for but some also like the Savox servos, and Killer RC Killer Bee Kill switch just released their Superbee killswitch. Must have for any gasser. Congrats on the jump and be sure to check all nuts, bolts, fluids, and needle settings on carb.

i went with hitec on mine, replaced both Steering and T/B servos. got a 7955 for T/B and the 5755 for steering. and as mentioned a Killer Bee on mine as well.
on KB i installed the buzzer, and a remote led i made a mount for bolted to a non used bolt hole on engine cowl on top, i can look tru rear hatch opening and see it easily
