As I've mentioned in a few other posts, I recently got a good deal on an FG Monster Truck, which is piped, and has full hydros.

Now, I've been wanting an HPI Baja SS since they came out. I have 4 other buddies that have the Bajas, and we live near a gravel pit that has some nice hill climbs.

So, now I have to decide if I should sell the FG and buy an Baja SS, or just keep the FG, and run it.

What do you guys think?

i would sell it on ebay and get something else like a 5t or someing great like that. i think the 4wd fg's are nice, but a 2wd mt is simply sit-n-spin. those 5b guys are gona be schoolin you left and right.

Well, I drove it.

Not good.

I kinda want to keep it now. I've driven Baha SS's before, but I've never experienced anything like that power spinning those huge meaty tires!!!

It really is a blast!!

That said, I really think I'm going to sell the MT off. Right now, I want something wider and lower and more stable. I want to be able to have an oval track race in an asphalt parking lot or be able to go hill climbing in a gravel pit.

But I think I'll have another MT sometime in the future (with 4wd!)

lol , u want something wider and lower? lower the mt . u can hill climb with the mt`s . i just don't think u can handle the mt and all its zenoah power :clown:

The MT will be a great hill climber. You can buy adapters for HPI rims/tires and change the MT's out to lower and widen it. Again, you have a MT that is worth new about 1500-2000. It will be hard to get another for 500. I say save it and save for a Baja.:)

I would take that FGMT for $500 bucks in a minute.....That unit is the heart and soul of
RC Products.....If I were you I would keep it.....Only you can decide what you want to do..
I would put some wheel adapters on that unit and use Baja wheels with Hostile AT tires..
with those tires it will perform great for you.....Slawhammer
