Just been looking at caterham's on you tube and found this cute kid asking
his dad to go fast again!! :cool:

i know exactly what your saying there voo,,me and my little girl were in a 100mph+ 7 car wreck a subaru impreza a ex mate was driving and just floored it to over take then run out of room and all hell broke lose bits everywhere holes in the side of the doors no tyres left no windows dented roof you could see daylight through the floor where the foot pedals are it spun round twice and stopped in the middle of the road,,,now shes a nervous wreck in a car anything over 30 mph and shes slow down daddy and to be honest im not much better even 3 years later i will never ever put her or me in harms way like that again
 
My wife would kill me - if not literally, then verbally!!
Having said that, it did appear reasonably sensible, but it was, I think on a public road, where all manner of other persons and machinery may circulate .....

There's fun and there's plain old parental responsibility.

Guys go easy on this dude, we don't know exactly how fast they are going. But 50 or 60 Mph when you hit the throttle on a big engine, and in a roadster body will make a kids feel like they are going 100 MPH

I take my kids out on my Harley, I never go above 50Mph, but accelerating hard and the pipes screaming and the kids love it. They never realize there mom probably is going faster in the SUV on the way to school ;-)

when my uncle takes me out in his, it does feel like your going like a 100mph but
when you look at the speed thingy where only doing like 40mph!!
 
there not the best of cars to take your kids in but my uncle takes his 5 yr old kid i it and
hes done the good thing and got a custom made rollcage for it

cheers blakey we was very lucky that day im not a god loving person but i thanked him that day to come out of a crash like that unhurt is unreal the ambulance drivers didnt belive we got out of the subara alive let alone un hurt my little girl had brusing to her chest and i hurt my back and tip of my thumb the driver broke his ankle and got banned for 2 years plus 6 months in prison and has to go on a extended driving test

its the same in my mk1 golf cabrio when the roofs down it seems twice as fast but you look at speedo and its 30/40mph
 
Damn, wouldn't want to be the next door neighbour should they wish to have a romantic evening - that's one loud woman!!
