Kill switch magnet

Does it matter were the magnet is located on the wire of a kill switch? Could i put it half way on the wire instead of right close to the coil? thx for your time =)

I put mine just outside the fan cover. Can you show a picture of how you routed the wire so we can help you better?

The placement of the RFI filter doesn't matter. Anywhere on the cable will do

Got it figured I like that white clip idea

@Rikjaymez you want to absolutely make sure the wire will not contact any moving parts, hence why I use the cable holders.
