When I first order my Kraken Vekta 5 kit I did not purchase my futaba 3pv from ddm I acutely got while I was out of state on a trip and when every thing was and i installed the receiver it dit not power on and sinc I had it so long I could return we’ll send back to the hobby town purchased it from they told no dice so I ordered another receiver from tower hobby and the same thing but I was Able to get refund so than I ordered the radiolink rc4gs from rovan witch is working great acept the kill switch any one ever use this system with the dynamite kill switch

Kinda hard to follow you. But you bought multiple receivers with the same issue? Did you follow the instructions for the killswitch? I have the same one you have to set it up with the radio. Also the led can be bad or your killswitch is bad

Yes multiple receivers all bad. So I finally just put the transmitter on eBay and sold it solo. You could be right about the kill switch .and sorry if it seems like I’m al over the place I’m new too this talking via the net I don’t have any social media

I find it kind of hard to believe that every receiver was bad. Did you bind the transmitter and receiver together per the manual for the transmitter first ? What receivers did you try? Should have been a R304SB or R203GF S . Futaba's are some of the best RC Transmitter/receivers out there. Sorry to see you had issues. I will admit connecting a kill switch is not the easiest thing to do sometimes.

If a reciever is able to operate the servos and respond to the transmitter in a consistent way then its wise not to condemn the reciever... @siblues we do not know in what way he chose his path to his conclusion but the only thing left the same after 4 recievers is the killswitch. And since its an electronic device id suspect the killswitch or the way he tried to bind it to the system

Nope it didn’t light up . And yes I read the manual over and over watched YouTube review for days. But I did come across a few reviews on different sites were people said they also got d.o.a. Receivers from futaba . It may not be very common but it happens I’m living proof. I ordered my radiolink from rovan because a lot of reviews say it was a good bang for the buck plus’s any thing I order from them come within two days I was prest I realy wanted to start running the vekta. But the downside was it didn’t come with instructions But I was able to download them but say nothing’s about kill switch only fail safe
Oh sorry servo did not work with the futaba

The kill switch is typically set up to operate on a 3rd channel. If your futaba reciever was indeed DOA they would have replaced it free of charge. I can understand the overwhelming want to run a new toy, I'm suffering a deep bout of that waiting for the last parts for my 5ive. I personally have had a bad experience with dynamite kill switches, but many recently have set them up successfully. You should also be able to get hook up instructions off of their web site
