I've read that when you order the Chimera a kill switch comes with it. LOL because I never got one but then again, I've never used a kill switch before. Normally just the fail safe. Is the kill switch really a necessity vs just pressing the button on the engine?

Yes, it's necessary. You won't be able to push the button on the engine when it's running away from you. With a kill switch you can kill the engine before it runs away via the transmitter. It'll save your vehicle and protect everyone around you from injury.

It depends on the dealer. Some dealers are giving a free kill switch, others give free pipes, etc.
