So I finally had a chance to get the rebuilt MT out yesterday. I installed the new power starter kit from killer rc and long story short she would not kick over. My buddy and I had her all torn apart going thru the electronics thinking maybe it was the kill switch or the ignition coil because it was getting week spark. Long story short my dumb but needs to pay attention to details. I was using a 12 volt instead of 18 volt drill. I know i know. Ive heard it before. Why do you need a power starter? mine fires right up! lol

Im a lazy mofo ok! haha. Everybody's different and I like having the power starter. So today I got her back up together and fired up for short test run and as soon as she got 15 ft away from me bam shut down! I'm like now what? What I realized was I had the kill switch disconnected and the electronics were still on over night so the battery had drained. I did a test and slowly walked away from the MT and as soon as I got to the same point the car shut down and led started blinking. My point is if it wasn't for the kill switch my MT would of took off on me and that would of been the end of it not to mention damaging someone's property. To all you newbies out there. Invest it the killer rc kill switch or you will be sorry. To many horror stories out there.

I ordered one for my XB and need to order one for the MT Bert, you're right last thing I want is it running loose into one of my boys.

I've already hit my fiance. Battery plug wiggled out. Hit her from behind wide open. I don't even like driving it anymore
Wish I would have hit my wife when she was still a fiance. Nothing wrong with being single! Hahaha. Actually she's very cool, she did up her Emaxx like the Scarlett Bandit Monster Jam truck & plows me with it if I graze her feet with one of my toys. & Yep thanks for the recommendation, putting a Bee on my pre-run list.

You don't have to use the red push button if you don't want it. You can unplug the button and just connect the two wires straight to the ignition coil.

dimension engineering has a battleswitch killswitch that is a quality kiillswitch for 26$.doesn't have all the bells and wistles as the superbee, but will still kill the engine at signal loss, radio power off, or a 3rd channel switch.this is good for people that don't wanna spend alot of money on a killswitch, but know they must have one.they even have a cheaper model, but i don't know about that one. i have the battleswitch, and have also read good reviews on it before i bought it.great for the money, and definitely will save your rc

And also if anyone is like me, I didnt know but I have a futaba 4 pl and if the failsafe is not set on the radio when you cut the radio off it will not kill the kill switch only whatever you have the 3rd channel set to will kill it. I would feel safer knowing I have two options to kill the switch.

Thanks all to those who responded. Yes, the one on RCPitStop looks good, and is a good price at $37. My wife is hauling back an XB for a buddy of mine, so I want to make sure he gets this before she leaves the US!
