There is only one super bee. It works with all. The older killer bee had different versions. The super bee replaced the older versions.

If you came across a killer bee you would need version 2

Thanks guys. And rcdad you answered the other question I had about working with another radio. Thanks again.

If you do not need all the extras the super bee has, I can show how to buy a pico switch assembled for 20 bucks shipped. All ya gotta do to this pico is cut a circut trace, and solder in one little jumper wire. It will function the same as a 60 dollar switch. It has a surface mount led on the board. Just go to radio shack buy a 3mm led and holder, solder 2 wires to the p-c board, place this led where ever you want. The shack also has the ferrite choke for sale. - easy as falling off a wet log.

So show us how to buy one

Pico Switch Mod

This is exactly what I did. I needed another kill switch, but Killer RC was out of them. Then I find out that only the new ones, more expensive, is all he sells now. Was a little disappointed cause I really don't need all the extra features. Now I have a simple kill switch/fail safe that works perfect.

Note: This will not work with a 2 channel radio.

Here is a link outlining the how-to

Pico Switch Mod

Pico mod photos.

If the link does not pull up, here are 2 photographs. The little LED is a surface mount componet. If you do not feel comfortable wiring in a outboard LED, just mount the Pico switch just underneath the radio box lid- and buy a 3mm LED mount, drill a hole tru the radio box lid so you can see the light. If you want to tackle this Pico mod, discharge the static off your body before you handle the Pico. And use a low wattage soldering iron- about 25 watts max. I would not grind on the 45 degree angle you see in the photo. Use a fresh x-zacto knife blade and make 2 cuts across the trace. then put the point of the knife under the cut section of circut trace and very carefully remove.

In all honesty it looks simple but I would have a buddy of mine do the soldering as my hands are not very steady. And the rest I can get at radioshack?
