I remove stock fail safe when I install kill switch, you don't need fail safe switch in there.Your tranmitter should have fail safe build in ,you can use with it,I did not use stock control.

The other problem I bought the wrong killer bee(v2s). Do you think that will affect in anything if I run with? Maybe will be easy to by a spektrum radio than buy a new killer bee.

What radio are you using? The only difference between the v2 and the v2s is the duration of the interrupt when signal loss is detected. Basically when the v2 detects signal loss it will kill the motor. With the Spektrums built in failsafe itd detect the initial signal loss and try and kill the engine. Then when the spektrums internal failsafe kicked in the standard v2 switch would let the engine refire...The v2s wont let it refire for 5 seconds after signal loss.

I am using the stock redcat one. Thinking about to get a spektrum dx3s, but some in ebay say spektrum team losi, so I don't know if will work on my DR.

thanks

Kent can be found on HPIBajaForum.com

I always recomment the Futaba line 3pm-x to start with, or more sophisticated if you can afford it.

This is the radio that I am saving for, it will work with my 4 wheel steering crawlers as well.

do you know what is the diferent between futaba and spektrum,I don't know whichone to get. I'll try trade my killer bee v2s for the v1, if I cant maybe I just go for the spektrum.

Kent should trade if you haven't damaged the other switch. Also the Dx3s only has a 2 pos 3rd channel, so you wont be able to have F/R dig with it.

Spektrum is crap, Futaba is great. All I know is I have had problems with 2 spektrums in Gas cars. Once I switched to Futaba, no more problems.

I use the Spekkys in my Slash and Touring cars now, and they work great on electrics.

what does this mean?

(I love my spektrum...Only the earlier DX's gave trouble...haven't read Dx3s or Dx3r giving trouble...)

Its for crawlers, if hes into them he knows what I mean :)

Basically dig refers to being able to lock the Front or Rear tires and essentially drag them with the opposing axle. With a 3 postion 3rd channel, you can have Front dig, 4wd and rear dig. With just a 2 postion 3rd channel you have only 2 settings, so you gotta choose either front dig or rear dig to go with the 4wd setting.

I highly recommend Futaba. Airtronics would be my 2nd choice. I've had no trouble with either of them and the range is great.

I'll never run a Specktrum again untill the company sends me a 6 pack of beer to pay for the ugly bruise I had on my shin due to a RX problem.

Spektrum owes me $150 in damages so Futaba/Airtronics all the way!

Even if they came out with a sytem that worked with all my cars Id still be mad over the damage thats already done!
