well I guess I shoulda stayed online when to pull the xsc over and snap so I guess I'm getting the killer rc pull rope

That sucks. Do you just grab the handle and pull? I like to pull the handle slowly until I feel the pawl engage, and then give it a good pull. Much easier to start and you're not beating up on the pull start assembly.
