Killer V2 functionality

Hey guys,


I attached the Killer V2 remote kill switch on my XT. I attached it to my Steering servo since my controller has the built in fail safe. When I shut the remote off there is a 3-5 second delay before the truck quits. Is anyone else seeing this? Shouldn't it be instant? Any advice?

It could be that it takes time to bypass the failsafe.

Is there any way to eliminate the failsafe?

Did you get a V2-S? They have a 5 second delay.

I actually called to order because I wanted to be 100% to get the right one. I got the V2. RC Dad said the delay is normal. My only concern is that if your near BIG issue, the kill switch won't necessarily work.

If your inches away from disaster then no, but it stops a runaway.

Weird. My kill switch doesn't have a delay. It kills the engine immediately. It must have something to do with the receiver. If the receiver has a delayed reaction to loss of signal, then obviously the kill switch would have a delayed reaction.

I am using stock radio and receiver with a killer bee v2 on my mt it has a 2 second delay
