killerbee instalation

I bought a killerbee but when I connect it the led does not light up.i have a stock 3ch receiver from redcat on my xt. when I put the killer in ch3 the led doesn't light up and when I split it with the steering servo it lights up but when I steer to the right it goes out.

I did that but it lights up now but when I steer to the right the led is going out

I have the v1 killerbee but when I steer to the right the led goes out.anyone know what the problem is?

I just installed the killer bee V2 a few days ago. If you look at the videos it pretty much sums it up for you. you need a Y connector. If you battery is dead the little LED will blink. If its going out you must have a loose connection somewhere.

if there is a loos connection the servo didn't work when I steer to the right but it does work

He should be using the v2 not v1 correct? with stock radio

I don't know if I need the v2 instead of the v1.I hope to find an answer soon

I have the stock radio for the new MT V3 and im using the V2 killer bee

you should be using a v2 with the stock 2 channel receiver as per killer bees instructions

thanks for all the help but I'm keeping the killer bee v1 because I ordered a spektrum dx3c radio and the v1 works with this radio
