King Kong ???

My friend purcahsed a King Kong 1/5 monster truck for a local hobby shop yeasterday.

Does anyone know who make the 30cc motor in these things?

Anything in particular I should warn him about?

I believe its the MCD clone. Did he get the 2wd or 4wd model?

2WD version, i think it may be one of the 'King Motor' ones

It is an FS racing, King Kong.
I read a post here a while back that stated that they are actually 26cc.

jeez wonder how they get away with calling it a 30cc then, oh well not my problem, im just curious who make the engine.

Don't know who makes them and don't really care........when I get a King Kong..my baja engine will be going in it.

That will give me a good excuse to build a 30.5cc demon with a TS reed case for the baja.

damn cant wait to see that.

he came over with the FS last night, started it on the bench, heaps of gear noise for some reason.

he is breaking it now, keeps stalling on him when he backs off down to idle, just told him to play with the idle screw and not to touch the needles, he's is new to petrol powered so best stay away from that for the time being.
