King Motor Baja Acceleration Issue

Hey guys,

My Baja accelerates by itself after I release the brakes, would that be my carb or my servo? Any help appreciated

could be either ,, is the idle set too high,, so the car takes off,,, throttle servo trim set to high on radio,,, so carb never fully closes,,, bad servo perhaps, stripped servo horn,,dirt in carb,,, quite a few possibilities,,,, does car take off when u start it,,, I will hold mine and after cpl pulls it starts right up and comes down to a nice idle,,, with the radio on ,, no movement till I give it gas

Either your idle is too high or you have a worn clutch spring..

this happened to me. The throttle linkage had grime stuck on it causing the linkage to the throttle to go back after the servo released the brakes.
