Have one as well. Rebuilt it after slamming a wall. The stock KM30.5 (CY Fuelie)engine performs quite well for what it is. 
I would recommend any flavor of the Zenoahif you have not decided on an engine yet. If you want some insane performance, highly recommend the Taylor RC 35. 
I am running that in a Baja I built from scratch (parts mostly from Taylor RC-UK, Detroit Performance, DDM racing).
