King Motor Buying Question

I found an ad on ebay for a 23cc King Motor buggy. The seller wants 521USD for it but I contacted him directly and he offered to sell it for 485USD but this would be outside of the ebay system and I was not sure how trustworthy the seller is.

The seller's username is danlc4 he has over 8000 feedback almost all positive and the negitive feedback was about broken parts that were replaced. The email that he used outside of ebay had kingmotorrc.com as the domain.

I was wondering if anyone has any personal experience with him outside of ebay and if anyone could tell me if that is a good price.

yes he is trustworthy out side of ebay. he helped me with a few issues i was having with a baja that i had bought from him.most people that are on this forum seem to like dan so i would say go for it. the price seems pretty good.

Dan is a GREAT GREAT guy. I dealt with him outside of ebay and he gave me a discount as well. Most importantly he stands behind his items. If there is anything out of the ordinary, contact him and he would hook you right up. Also, he inspects his products before he ships them. He even let me swap bodies before he shipped my t1000 to me!

Definately after a few interactions with him and buying my T1000 I wouldn't hesitate.

I personally negotiated with him over the phone. He will gladly give you his cell number. On top of that he did understand taking the sale out of eBay removed the buyers protection and was understanding if I chose the ebay route, but in the end, I bought two from Dan outside of eBay, and they arrived exactly as described about 6 days later by UPS (he supplied the tracking numbers too). The price you were given is about what I was offered, but since I bought 2 I got em a little cheaper.

He is a trust worthy seller off of eBay. When you make the payment via paypal, you will get a letterheaded receipt with all company details on it. It looks very professional.
