Hey guys I am back to mabey getting this truck now. The hpi baja 5t seems to expensive for a plastic truck can anyone tell me about the T1000 is it faster than the hpi 5t ? does it hold up? are the parts easy to get? or compatible?

faster kinda depends on the motors used not the brand names. my t1000 has a 29cc on it, but the 30.5 is a bigger motor, there are conversions i cood do to mine to get bout what a 30.5 puts out. i woodnt settle for less than a 29cc engine myself, but if ya can get the 30.5 one then go fer it. most all parts on the KM is interchangeable with hpi, some say the plastic on KM is not up to snuff, but so far on mine its prolly been just as good as a hpi brand, for the less money spent on a KM you can take that saved cash and dump it directly into upgrades, first upgrade you will want is a new PS, get one with a collar around the pawl, and go over entire truck checking bolts and nuts for tightness, drop the diff and fill it with fluid, mine was empty, to make it easier get the split diff metal caseing diff, and check your air filter for oil in filter, some have had none in it. just get what ya need or know you need upgrades, maybe a extra set of arms, etc... overall the KM is just as good as a hpi, you just need to do and invest a lil time to go over it and do a few things to it first before running. not that big a hassle for money saved on it over a hpi

the 30.5 is a stroker motor it will have more bottom end. but not much duffernce in a 29 and 30.5 as far as speed alot depends on what you want to do with it and the pipe you put on it
