Hey guys just received a pair of mounted rear KM all terrains on super stars from RC Modelz they look bloody brilliant!
Have many of you guys run these tyres? and how have they performed?
I chose them mainly as im on a bit of a budget and they seemed to offer the most for the money.
Plus one of my rear wheels was alittle rounded on the hex after a large impact and one of my dirtbusters has a bloody great hole in the side wall these all terrain ones seem to be a lot more robust too.

mate im using rovan hostile clones on the rear of the bug and bow tie clones on the front holding up well and for the price you cant knock them

Yeah been looking at them think they will be next i like both the tyres you got! these ones i got cos they were only 39 quid mounted on super stars thought that was a good price and they look mental proper chunky! also got me alloy front shock tower and brace KM ones from RC Modelz for 15 quid and i have to say not bad quality at all i think this KM stuff is getting better! although i will say the tower i got is designed to use the alloy supports so having to shave my plastic ones a little to fit not a prblem really only i did have a little accident with a stanley blade earlier and nearly cut my finger in two lol!!:w00t:

I think the all terrains are a good tire! Came on my baja new and i thought they did well on dirt and grass!!! I did blow one though but it was my fault. I then purchased a rear set of mud terrains and have not been satisfied because they seem a little greasy but that all up to application. I am going to show a vid. when i blew the tire so you can see what happened. Skip to the last 30 seconds or so to see.

After getting back home and putting it on the bench the tire looked like pollishman's tire with the sidewall split. I should have taken pics but did not.
I would buy the all terrains again though!!!! I gave um hell

the resulting rip in tire was just from bad landing under POWER, the fast rpms of tire spin suddenly hittin pavement tore the tire wall. mine come with the knobbies all way round and haven't ripped one yet

They sure look like they have enough grip laying down the power up that hill! seems like they are agood tyre then think im gonna get the fronts too.

Mine were doin fine too till i slid sideways at quite a speed into a curb and tore a hole in the side wall having said that i still ran it a couple of times like that! looking forward to seeing how these all terrains perform i mainly run on grassy fields and a little loose dirt no jumping till i do more upgrades found that out the hard way taking a nose dive from 8 feet!

lucky for me theres no curbs to deal with, just shallow ditches , and i have a big open feild out in front across the road to run it in too, took it over to wifes other property once and messed with it round the creek where theres alot of sand on the banks, had fun ripping ruts there. 20 foot roosters in the mud, etc.... equals great time!

don't blame there at all, nothing to hit, lol, cept maybe the neighbor dog chasing it, lol, i haven't yet, but one day that dogs gonna get got, i have it out for that dog anyways, it comes over to my house and has killed my outside kittens we have.

So pollishman in your opinion are they any good? do you reckon that it was due to a bad landing that it happened or due to quality!

The tire failure that I experienced was due to a bad landing under power as Lan said. These are a soft compound tire, and work great off-road.

I look forward to giving these tyres a good run i reckon they will give me much better traction than my dirtbusters. I can see how you bust it open landing hard under power i don't jump anymore i go a bit too far when i do and break stuff lol! Maybe once i do some more upgrades i will jump but till then its field running for me.

I'm the same way, I get crazy and break stuff. When I ran nitro, I use to jump my savage all the time. But with my KM, I don't quite feel comfortable jumping it yet. At least until I upgrade it some! I have ordered some aluminum shock towers and my next upgrade will be RPM a-arms. Then I might feel a little better about jumping it.

On the front tires though i am not sure mine did do well but i am looking at tires that are pretty much all around in aplication something like sand rails or like one of the pics of one of the other peoples have that I'v seen that are pretty much a soft compound but are just plainly front tires that do the job!
