So far the person that put it together at the factory was a loctite happy guy! No complaints but it's a pain to take out those screws. I striped one of the four screws that holds the engine to the chassis! Need to take care of that before the engine can be removed.
 
I only use loctite on engine bolts, carb and exhaust header only because I like to sevice and rebuild my regularly

1 top tip, do the pinion bolt/clutch bell mod....you swap the standard pinion bolt with a slighly longer bolt and install from inside the bell then add a couple of locking nuts to the outside, this helps to get the pinion bolt out if it snaps...

Short shorty baja?

These look cool aswell and its a direct fit over the 5B and 5T

Been very busy with work. Had a break over the weekend and took the baja apart and then new idea: short short baja.

I understand that in this configuration the gas tank is out of the equation. But if I modify the chassis (actually thinking of making a wider one on my own I can hopefully fit a different smaller tank (may be side mounted). The question is which tank.

Any suggestions?
