Km t1000 gt

Hey everyone, I am about to pull the trigger and get a 1/5th scale and was thinking why spend 1200-1300 for a new HPI or 700-900 for a used one when I can get a new KM for 700-800. I just wanted to make sure that if I purchase the KM I can put the same aftermarket parts on it that you can on the HPI after i break the stock ones.

Yep nearly all parts can be replaced with HPi or after market upgrades..


Not sure if they have gone with a Fuelie now or still come with the clone motor which has a different bottom end on..

So getting engine upgrades will be difficult for the KM? I am not one to upgrade anything right away since i am new to 1/5th scale, but i do plan on putting better equipment on once something does break.

Contant Dan (danlc4, I believe) on Ebay, he'll hook you up. TO date, he has the most reliable KM's.

Sounds good, I have sent him a message on Ebay asking a few questions and I think I will end up going that route. Anything else I should pick up before my first runs?
