Now, depending on where you buy it you can spend up to about $900. I have one and I really like it. It came with a 2.4ghz radio, 29cc fuelie motor, 33kg steering servo, a 6v 3000Mah reciever pack and is actually faster than an HPI Baja 5T out of the box. Believe me I can tell by the sound and acceleration that there's a huge difference in a 26cc and 29cc motor. If someone were interested in buying one, not that I'm selling them or anything. I would consider these upgrades. Mine came with a bubble in one of the a arms and it snapped within 10 mins of starting it and one of the front tires actually fell off shortly after breakin. The front wheel is an easy fix using airplane parts that a friend, who actually has a HPI Baja 5T and is actually really impressed with mine, showed me how to fix in about 15 mins or so. He actually called it by saying the front wheel will most likely fall off within the first 10 hrs of running it. His son's Baja 5B SS did the same thing the day he finished it. The cheap tuned pipe actually bent and was all dented to hell, from what I have no clue, and obviously drastically changed the performance. But I really see it as something I already planned on upgrading. RPM A arms are in the mail along with a sweet chrome pipe. So for the $900 I think it's worth it. And by the way, I found that you will have to spend a minumum of $250 to get a 29cc motor for an HPI 5T because I haven't found a site that sells one with a 29cc engine. Unless I just haven't come across that site yet and am just wrong about an HPI coming that big of a engine. In my opinion it's well worth the money. Some people worry about getting parts for it but as far as I know they are totally 100% compatible with HPI parts. I'll find out when I get the parts and install them. And yes, if they don't fit, I will have a fit!

A friend of mine just bought one of these off ebay and paid $705.00AU for it. I haven't really heard or seen one of these. When he gets it we will make some vids and post them.
I'll have to tell him that the parts are interchangable with the HPI 5T.

Hi yes should be cheaper than the real hpi for $700 you can get a used 5t if you look hard enough ok not with the alloy upgrades but still.
Oh i was also told that these km bajas are from fs racing just another name they seem to make them all.Straight from the horses mouth but it could be a load of bull but where i get my info is pretty much bang on anyway who give a boo hoo it should be cheaper
hey MONSTERTRUCKMAD was that price including shipping or not

Hey Sickboy,

The shipping was $30AU to your door via courier. I think he got a bargain. Hot looking truck.

No, the King Motor buggies and trucks are not from fs racing. I have been dealing with the manufacturer for two years personally and I would know if they were from fs racing.

KM are not 100% compatible with HPI parts. For example the diff is not campatible. I got myself a Rovan instead, as they are 100% compatible with HPI parts!

I bought the 290 standard... Have run 5 tanks so far. I did some research for a couple of months and I don't think KM is all bad. But the fact is they seem to have some serious problem with their engines. And they are not 100% compatible with HPI parts. On several forums there are reports of engine failure.

I don't think there is a perfect clone. They all got problems. For example the Rovan is told to have problems with their plastic. I haven't noticed this but it could be true.
