Congrats. The only reservation I would have with it is the weight,I think it`s 40 lbs.You should have fun with it. I believe it has two belts for the drive.don't believe that nonsense its a clone, you will be just fine and please keep us posted.

Yes I have one but its not the 4 wheel drive I have the 2 speed they are nice I have been working to hard I have not even had a chance to break in the motor yet I did just crank it up and let it run for 20min and shut it down. Hopefully in the near future I will open it up and let it rip. I have the 2 speed buggy also I have beat the heck out of it and its been great fun so enjoy.

Cool truck +1 on the clone debates. I have 2 Hpi bajas and like them but why didn't Hpi take on the initiative to release a 4wd baja. I hope you like it let us know what you think.

Here's some pics of her....she's a little mess right now...dead servo out of the box so I have a new Hitec 5755 sitting on it waiting to go in....

I think the km brand is rite up there and have strongly considered getting one but im gonna hold out, i think they have sweet wheels and pretty nice platform though.. I will be running a Nutech Sandstorm this summer. Let us know more about your km, im interested as well.

Well guys, I got about 10 minutes out of it...the first time I was able to run it (had to replace steering servo with hitec 5755mg). Let me tell you though, the belt drive is tits! However, the suspension arms are not, ripped right through a rear upper/lower, and broke a shock in half, the shaft and all. Still haven't found the rest of the shaft. Kinda funny, the botttom spring flung about 20 yards away down a hill. I'm not impressed with the suspension arms (obviously), nor the funny shock tower set up. You really don't need 8 shocks and all they did was add a cheesy tower next to the original shock tower. Lame. The suspension parts and hub carriers are not interchangeable with HPI stuff either. Super lame. Oh well

Hey guys, I have a km 2.0 29.5cc baja.

2wd and its close to a hpi. I have hpi hubs and also susp braces. Front arms most alloy will fit. But turtle raceing has a wide range of gear. So does roven. They also do a conversion from baja to a short corse truk as well. 31b201af-57d2-81b6.webp31b201af-57fb-95f9.webp

The boost bottles arent worth a shite either. And since ive had them on. The clear tubes look like there full uf dust. And whats worse is, it don matter wat I do. Since ive had them on, I need to retune it wen she has her first runs, and wen she is nice n hot, gota tune it again. Im pulln them off asap. As it even seems tho its lost power since they been put on too. Bah humbug lol. Useless invention.

Yea, they look pretty cool, but don't care for the dual shock set up either. I mean is the thing really that much heavier to justify an extra shock per wheel instead of just stiffer springs?

I like the looks of the Kalee Baja. See here

Scott from Zero Gravity RC (now www.nutechracingusa.com) did a big review on it at another forum. Can't remember which one, but can find it if anybody wants to know.

I have seen the Kalee's online and they do look pretty good....no idea how good they are actually though. And the dual shocks are a joke...no need except to look cool.

With the himoto I would think it is a Cy. To check that it is it wiil say Chung yang on the crank case just above we're the clutch bolts on and on the fly wheel side located at the bottom of the case. Hope this helps.
