kold kutter screw size?

i bought 5/8 from ddm and they went trough the whole tire maybe a 1/8 to a 1/4 inch so the grab the foam a little tires still have plenty of flex hope this helps this is what mine looked like when i was done

i will be using them monday and telling everyone how they work i ran out of screws and had to get a fer from my buddies to finish them up i put 256 in all the tires so i hope they hold up well we wwill see
 
got a chance to get out and run the mt tires with the kold kutters. the tires seemed to hold up very well and still got really good traction i have some video just don't have it on the computer yet. no studs pulled through/out and seemed to dig in great off the start the ice had a light dusting of snow so that makes them have to spin i bit more
 
cool thats what i was worried about,them ripping out. my screws should be here soon. the tmaxx is first then if that goes well the ramp is next

I did my new set of Hostile tires yesterday, and I used the kold kutter 3/8 screws they came out perfect .

the only bad thing i noticed was that you needed super clean ice to run them well to make them hook really good just as with our quads we ice race if you try and go through a couple inches of snow you might as well get out and push but man oh man do they hook up on the ice. it was cool i flipped mine over a few times turning because it would hook so good but then we got a foot of snow and how 50* temps so im sure the ice will be junk but there is always a hope
