Hey guys I always drain the fuel out of my KM baja. Keeps the wife happy since it reduces the smell in storage.

To make this easier I was thinking about getting the Kraken Bullet System. But it seems expensive. Do you think it is worth it? Any alternatives?

Currently I use the fuel bottle that came with my TMaxx to suck the fuel out.

just make petrol bombs with the rest of the petrol

up to you mate but i just get abit of tubing from the shed and suck the petrol out into
a bottle.

It will work good for that, but in my opinion, I think it is rather expensive. They do make fueling the Baja quick, which is great when it comes to racing.

Yea the price is killing me a bit. I was also going to probably need it when I get a roll cage. I will ponder it a bit more. If anyone knows of a cheaper alternative I am all ears

use your mouth...... be quick or you get petrol in your mouth

or remove the tank before you get home so the wife wont moan at you ?

lol, I think I would just stick with the sucker bottle. I also posted a WTB post to see if anyone has a used one they would want to sell.

no it isnt worth the cash, there are other options out there that are much cheaper that could be used by just doing a simple mod to the fuel cap. squeeze bulbs, hand crank and electric pumps are just a few (available at places like tower hobbies) which will put fuel in your tank but also drain it.

the bullet fuel is so you don't have to remove your cap for fillining and draining but it is nothing more than a big syringe, i would rather have an electric pump for gas which actually cost les than the bullet fueler.

Lord raptor do you have a suggestion you could point me to at tower hobbies?

Never mind I found them ;-) I am thinking I might like the hand crank better, no batteries ;-)

I find the easiest way to remove the fuel is to screw the spout from a 5 litre petrol onto your KM tank ( they are the same cap size ) and tip the baja to neatly pour through the spout into your container.

Ta da :)
